If the new Microsoft Edge browser is a very welcome update, Microsoft is also working on bringing Xbox Cloud Gaming to Xbox consoles this holiday season. The September Xbox Update should automatically install on your console, but you can also download it manually by going to Settings> System> Updates & Downloads> Update Console. To help players get started with this new feature, Microsoft is also recommending a few Xbox Game Pass titles for gamers to add to their Play Later list. The September Xbox Update also introduces a new Play Later list for Xbox Game Pass games, which allows subscribers to create their own list of games from the ever-growing catalog. Xbox consoles open up many new possibilities and You can even access streaming services like Google Stadia or Nvidia’s GeForce Now with the new web browser.
“When a game on Microsoft Edge opens a new window for hints or instructions, send this tab to another registered device so that you can play seamlessly on your console,” emphasized the Xbox team.
The Xbox update from September replaces the old Edge browser with the new Chromium-based version, which offers improved web standards as well as mouse and synchronization support. A new system update is now available for download on Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S consoles.
